It is my privilege to serve as the President of the Society of Quality Assurance for Higher Education (SQAHE), a professional, non-profit organization committed to strengthening quality assurance practices across universities and colleges in Pakistan.

In an era of rapid transformation in higher education, quality assurance has become a cornerstone for academic excellence, institutional credibility, and global recognition. SQAHE was established with the vision of supporting higher education institutions in building robust internal quality systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and aligning national practices with international standards.

The implementation of the HEC Pakistan Precepts, Standards and Guidelines (PSG-2023) marks a significant milestone in Pakistan’s quality assurance landscape. These reforms emphasize institutional performance, program effectiveness, accountability, and enhancement. SQAHE is proud to serve as a professional platform that supports universities and colleges in understanding, implementing, and sustaining PSG-2023 requirements, including PREE, REQAAB, and Internal Quality Circles (IQC).

Recognizing the growing role of digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, and evidence-based evaluation, SQAHE encourages institutions to leverage modern technologies to enhance transparency, efficiency, and reliability in quality assurance processes. Through capacity-building initiatives, professional networking, knowledge sharing, and policy dialogue, SQAHE remains dedicated to empowering quality assurance professionals and academic leaders nationwide.

As President, I reaffirm SQAHE’s commitment to supporting its members, strengthening collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), regulatory bodies, academia, and national and international partners. Together, we can foster a sustainable quality culture that enhances institutional performance and contributes meaningfully to Pakistan’s socio-economic development.
